  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

  • 2 containers Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • Caramel sauce for drizzle
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, mix water, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, cinnamon, and diced apples. Cook until thickened (5–7 minutes) and cool.
  3. Unroll crescent rolls into triangles; place about a tablespoon of cooled apple filling on each triangle. Roll tightly from the wide end.
  4. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl; roll each bomb in this mixture.
  5. Bake on parchment-lined baking sheet for 15 minutes or fry in hot oil until golden brown (3–4 minutes).
  6. Drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
