- 5 medium apples (peeled, cored, and chopped)
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 8 flour tortillas (6-inch)
- Non-stick cooking spray
Instructions
- In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, combine chopped apples with brown sugar, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, lemon juice, water, and cornstarch. Stir to coat the apples.
- Cook for 10-15 minutes until apples are tender, stirring occasionally.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut tortillas into triangles and arrange on a baking sheet. Spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Mix granulated sugar with ground cinnamon; sprinkle over tortilla triangles.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until crispy and golden.
- Serve warm apple filling in a dish with cinnamon sugar tortilla chips on the side.
