Ingredients
- 1 bagel (or 2 slices of bread), halved and toasted
- 1 ripe avocado
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp olive oil or butter (for cooking)
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, halved or quartered
Instructions
- Toast the bagel halves or bread slices until golden.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the avocado with salt and pepper. Spread evenly over the toasted halves.
- Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Crack in the eggs and fry sunny-side-up or to your desired doneness.
- Place a fried egg on top of each avocado toast and sprinkle with chili flakes for an extra kick.
- Serve with a generous portion of sliced strawberries on the side.
