Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef or turkey/chicken
- 12 oz cheese-filled tortellini
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking dish with nonstick spray.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté chopped onions in olive oil until translucent. Add minced garlic and ground beef; cook until browned.
- Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning; let simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Cook tortellini according to package directions until al dente, then drain.
- Combine cooked tortellini with the meat sauce mixture in the skillet.
- Transfer everything to the prepared baking dish and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
