- 12 oz ziti pasta
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Cook ziti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add garlic and Italian seasoning, stirring until fragrant.
- Mix in marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine cooked pasta, ricotta, and half of the mozzarella.
- Layer half of the pasta mixture in the baking dish, followed by half of the meat sauce. Repeat layers and top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
