Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tsp dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Pat chicken breasts dry; season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat; sear chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, scraping any bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted; add dried herbs and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Return chicken to the skillet, coating it well with the sauce. Let simmer for about five minutes to meld flavors.
- Serve hot, drizzling any remaining sauce over the chicken.
