- 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
- ½ pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a cast iron skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, then drain any excess fat. Stir in taco seasoning and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes before removing from heat; allow to cool slightly.
- Roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
- Spread the cooked taco meat over half of the dough and top with shredded cheeses. Fold the other half of the dough over and seal the edges tightly.
- Cut into strips about 1-inch wide and twist each strip before placing on the baking sheet.
- Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle garlic powder before baking for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm with salsa and sour cream for dipping.
