  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: Serves approximately 8 breadsticks 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
  • ½ pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a cast iron skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, then drain any excess fat. Stir in taco seasoning and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes before removing from heat; allow to cool slightly.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
  4. Spread the cooked taco meat over half of the dough and top with shredded cheeses. Fold the other half of the dough over and seal the edges tightly.
  5. Cut into strips about 1-inch wide and twist each strip before placing on the baking sheet.
  6. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle garlic powder before baking for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with salsa and sour cream for dipping.
