Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 12 oz penne or fettuccine pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season both sides of the chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and rest before slicing.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté garlic until fragrant. Add Cajun seasoning and smoked paprika, cooking briefly before stirring in heavy cream and broth. Simmer until thickened.
- Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce until coated. Add sliced chicken and stir to combine.
- Serve with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
