- 6 strips turkey bacon
- 2 large chicken breasts
- Flour (for dredging)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Pepper (to taste)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Cook turkey bacon in a skillet over medium-high heat until crispy (approximately 10 minutes). Remove and set aside, leaving some fat in the skillet.
- Cut chicken breasts in half lengthwise, season with garlic powder and pepper, then dredge in flour.
- Sear chicken cutlets in the same skillet until golden brown on both sides (about 4-5 minutes per side). Set aside.
- In the skillet, add chicken broth, lemon juice, and butter; bubble until reduced by half (3-4 minutes).
- Stir in heavy cream; return chicken and turkey bacon to the skillet. Simmer for another 5 minutes until cooked through.
