  • 3 T taco seasoning
  • 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup chunky salsa
  • 1 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9" pie pan.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked; drain excess grease.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning with the beef and transfer to the greased pie pan.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together heavy cream, eggs, salsa, 1 cup cheese, garlic salt, and black pepper.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over seasoned beef in the pie pan, then top with remaining cheese.
  6. Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes until set and golden on top.
