Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 3 T taco seasoning
- 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
- 4 large eggs
- 1/3 cup chunky salsa
- 1 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9" pie pan.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked; drain excess grease.
- Stir in taco seasoning with the beef and transfer to the greased pie pan.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together heavy cream, eggs, salsa, 1 cup cheese, garlic salt, and black pepper.
- Pour the egg mixture over seasoned beef in the pie pan, then top with remaining cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes until set and golden on top.
- Cool for about 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
