Ingredients
- 32 oz marinara sauce
- ½ pound ground chicken (or turkey)
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 2 tbsp shredded Parmesan cheese
- 8 oz mozzarella cheese (cut into thick slices)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground chicken until fully cooked.
- Add the marinara sauce to the skillet and stir well; let it simmer while preparing the cheese mixture.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Place four ramekins on a baking sheet. Spoon a thin layer of meat sauce into each ramekin.
- Add about ½ cup of the ricotta mixture over the meat sauce in each ramekin.
- Top with approximately half a cup of meat sauce followed by one slice of mozzarella cheese on each.
- Broil under high heat for about 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
