  • ¾ tablespoon baking powder
  • 3 large eggs (room temperature)
  • ½ cup avocado oil or neutral cooking oil
  • 3 medium apples (peeled and diced)
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and prepare a 7-inch springform pan by greasing it and lining the bottom with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and baking powder. Stir well.
  3. Add eggs and oil to the dry mixture, mixing until smooth. Fold in diced apples gently.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35-40 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. In the last few minutes of baking, warm milk, butter, and additional sugar in a pot until dissolved.
  6. When done baking, poke holes in the top of the cake and pour the warm milk mixture over it.
  7. Let cool for about 10-15 minutes before serving.
