- 2 sheets thawed puff pastry
- 2 large fresh peaches, peeled and diced
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
- Pinch of salt
- 1 large egg (for egg wash)
- ½ cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 1 tablespoon salted butter (melted, for glaze)
- 2–3 teaspoons milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine diced peaches, brown sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, cinnamon, ground cloves, and salt until well mixed.
- Roll out puff pastry into an 11-inch square; cut into four equal squares.
- Spoon peach filling onto half of each square. Brush edges with whisked egg.
- Fold over the pastry squares and seal edges with a fork.
- Bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
- Prepare the glaze by whisking powdered sugar, melted butter, and milk until smooth; drizzle over cooled turnovers.
