Ingredients
- ¾ lb flank steak (or sirloin/ribeye)
- 1 ½ tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 6 oz fresh or dried noodles (ramen or spaghetti)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 3 tablespoons beef broth
- ¾ tablespoon honey or brown sugar
- ½ tablespoon vegetable oil (divided)
- ¾ teaspoon cornstarch
- ¾ teaspoon sesame oil
- ¾ teaspoon grated ginger
- ¾ tablespoon hoisin sauce
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Marinate the thinly sliced steak in soy sauce, optional oyster sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil for 15-20 minutes.
- Cook noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat and cook marinated steak until browned (3-4 minutes). Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, melt butter, add minced garlic and ginger; sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, and beef broth; simmer until slightly thickened (2-3 minutes).
- Add cooked noodles and return steak to the skillet; toss to combine everything well.
