- 1 lb (500g) shelled and deveined shrimp
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon melted unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 1/2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 dashes cayenne pepper
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Rinse the shrimp under cold water, drain well, and set aside.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil and melted butter until fully melted.
- Sauté the minced garlic in the skillet for about 1-2 minutes until slightly brown.
- Stir in the shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes until they turn pink.
- Pour in honey, lime juice, salt, and cayenne pepper; stir to combine.
- Continue cooking until the sauce thickens slightly and coats each shrimp beautifully.
- Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.
