  2. Steam broccoli florets for 3-4 minutes; then plunge into ice water to maintain color and crispness.
  3. Season chicken cubes with salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear chicken until golden brown, about 6-8 minutes.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Gradually whisk in heavy cream.
  5. Remove from heat, stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth, adjusting thickness with reserved pasta water as needed.
