- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cans sliced peaches, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup brown sugar
- Squeeze of fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Pour melted butter into a greased 9×13 baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Pour the batter over the melted butter; do not stir.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook peaches with brown sugar and lemon juice until sugar dissolves.
- Pour peach mixture into the center of the batter; avoid stirring.
- Bake for about 45 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
