Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, Greek yogurt, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips or desired mix-ins evenly throughout the dough.
- For a firmer texture, chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes (optional).
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are golden.
