- 1 cup granulated white sugar
- ½ cup all purpose white flour
- ½ cup Hershey's Special Dark cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- 2 large eggs
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 oz cream cheese (at room temp)
- ¼ cup granulated white sugar
- 1 large egg
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- orange food coloring
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and line an 8 x 8 baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Add eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla; mix until smooth.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and orange food coloring; blend well.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared dish. Spoon dollops of the cream cheese mixture over it; layer remaining brownie batter on top and swirl gently with a knife.
- Bake for about 30 minutes or until set in the center. Allow cooling before slicing into squares.
