- 1 cup whole milk (or skim milk)
- 1 pound white fish (like haddock or cod)
- 1 pound shrimp
- 2 medium potatoes
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 medium onion
- 4 cups seafood stock (or chicken stock)
- Fresh herbs (thyme, bay leaf)
Instructions
- Chop the potatoes, mince the garlic, and chop the onion.
- In a heavy pot over medium heat, sauté onions in oil until translucent, then add garlic until fragrant.
- Add diced potatoes and pour in seafood stock. Bring to a boil, then simmer until potatoes are tender.
- Stir in white fish, shrimp, heavy cream, and whole milk; simmer gently until seafood is cooked through.
- Finish with fresh herbs for enhanced flavor.
