Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs (at room temperature)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup hot fudge sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan and drizzle half of the hot fudge sauce over it. Repeat with the remaining batter and fudge sauce, swirling gently for a marbled effect.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs. Let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
