Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Mix in flour, baking powder, and salt until combined. Press mixture into the prepared dish.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sweetened condensed coconut milk, brown sugar, and agar-agar powder. Stir until it reaches a gentle boil; simmer for about five minutes until thickened.
- Pour the caramel mixture over the crust and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown on top. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
