- 1 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the dark chocolate chips evenly throughout the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow cooling before cutting into squares.
