- 1 pound lean ground beef (or turkey)
- 14–16 ounces coleslaw mix (or finely sliced cabbage)
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce (or tamari)
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- pinch ground cloves (optional)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sesame oil
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks until browned; drain excess grease.
- Stir in minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
- Add the coleslaw mix and toss until well combined.
- Pour in soy sauce and stir to coat the mixture.
- Season with hot sauce, ginger, onion powder, and cloves; stir well.
- Cover the skillet and cook until cabbage is tender (2-5 minutes).
- Remove from heat and stir in sesame oil.
- Serve topped with sliced green onions.
