- 1 pound lean ground beef (or turkey)
- 14–16 ounces coleslaw mix (or 6 cups finely sliced cabbage)
- 1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce (or tamari)
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Green onions for garnish
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Drain excess grease and add minced garlic; sauté for about 30 seconds.
- Stir in coleslaw mix or sliced cabbage until combined.
- Pour in soy sauce, then add hot sauce, ginger, and onion powder.
- Cover and steam the cabbage for 2-5 minutes until tender.
- Drizzle with sesame oil and toss to combine.
- Serve topped with green onions and sesame seeds.
