- 8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
- 1 lb boneless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp black pepper
- Salt and olive oil (to taste)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and reserve some pasta water.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté chicken in olive oil for 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream, mixing well before adding Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Combine the drained pasta with the sauce in the skillet, adding reserved pasta water if needed to achieve desired consistency.
- Season with black pepper and serve immediately with extra Parmesan on top.
