- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic powder, egg, salt, and pepper until just combined; avoid overmixing.
- Shape the mixture into golf-ball-sized meatballs and place them on the baking sheet with space between each.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- While baking, whisk together beef broth, cream, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper in a saucepan over medium heat until heated through and slightly thickened.
- Toss baked meatballs in the sauce until well-coated before serving.
