- ¼ cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat; sauté onions and garlic until golden brown.
- In a bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and chicken broth until combined.
- Place the seasoned chicken in the baking dish, pour sauce over it, top with sautéed onions and cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
