- 4 large buttery croissants
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast (shredded or sliced)
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 4 slices Swiss or cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the chicken by shredding it into bite-sized pieces if using leftovers, or cook chicken breast in a skillet until golden brown and slice.
- In a small bowl, mix together equal parts maple syrup and Dijon mustard until well combined.
- Cut each croissant in half horizontally and spread the maple mustard sauce on both sides.
- Layer cooked chicken, fresh spinach, and cheese slices on the bottom half of each croissant.
- Place assembled sandwiches on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is melted.
