Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time and mix in the almond extract.
- Gradually combine the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just mixed.
- Gently fold in sliced almonds.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls onto prepared sheets and bake for about 10 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Allow cooling on wire racks before serving.
