- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the egg noodles in boiling salted water until al dente; drain.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat; drain excess fat.
- Add diced onions and minced garlic to the skillet; sauté until onions are translucent.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked noodles, sour cream, beef mixture, oregano, salt, and pepper; mix well.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish, top with cheddar cheese, and bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly.
