Instructions
- In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground turkey or chicken sausage for about 5-7 minutes.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion becomes translucent (around 3-4 minutes).
- Pour in crushed tomatoes and beef stock; season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in broken lasagna pieces; let cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes until pasta is tender.
- Before serving, mix in torn fresh basil. Ladle into bowls and top each serving with ricotta, parmesan, and mozzarella cheese.
