- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breast
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
- ½ cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
- 2 teaspoons garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- ¾ teaspoon dried chives
- ¾ teaspoon dried dill weed
- ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Blanch the broccoli in boiling water for 5 minutes, then rinse and drain.
- In a greased casserole dish, layer the blanched broccoli.
- Season chicken pieces with garlic, parsley, chives, dill weed, garlic powder, and onion powder; sauté in olive oil until cooked thoroughly.
- Add chicken to the casserole dish over the broccoli.
- In the same skillet, add heavy cream and whisk until slightly thickened; mix in half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese until melted.
- Pour the creamy sauce over the chicken and broccoli mixture.
- Top with remaining cheeses and crumbled turkey bacon.
- Bake for about 20 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
