  • 1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 2 teaspoons garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ¾ teaspoon dried chives
  • ¾ teaspoon dried dill weed
  • ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Blanch the broccoli in boiling water for 5 minutes, then rinse and drain.
  3. In a greased casserole dish, layer the blanched broccoli.
  4. Season chicken pieces with garlic, parsley, chives, dill weed, garlic powder, and onion powder; sauté in olive oil until cooked thoroughly.
  5. Add chicken to the casserole dish over the broccoli.
  6. In the same skillet, add heavy cream and whisk until slightly thickened; mix in half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese until melted.
  7. Pour the creamy sauce over the chicken and broccoli mixture.
  8. Top with remaining cheeses and crumbled turkey bacon.
  9. Bake for about 20 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
