- For the glaze: 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then mix in the lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Gently fold in the flour and salt until just combined—avoid overmixing.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake for 22–25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool completely before preparing the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth. Spread over cooled brownies.
