- ½ cup chopped apples

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a food processor or stand mixer, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, sugar, and salt. Pulse in the cold butter until the mixture resembles damp sand.
- Transfer to a bowl and mix in chopped apples. Add heavy cream gradually until the dough forms.
- Knead gently on a floured surface for about 10 seconds, then shape into a circle roughly ¾ inch thick.
- Cut into 8 wedges and refrigerate for 15 minutes before brushing tops with cream.
- Bake for 13-15 minutes until golden brown; cool slightly before drizzling with maple glaze.
