  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, salt, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Cook in a skillet until golden brown (6-8 minutes) then set aside.
  2. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Whisk together flour and milk; add to skillet and stir until thickened.
  5. Gradually stir in chicken broth and heavy cream. Once simmering, mix in cream cheese and mozzarella until melted.
  6. Combine cooked pasta and chicken with the sauce in the skillet; mix well.
  7. Serve hot with remaining mozzarella broiled on top until bubbly.
