Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken sausage
- 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Peel and cube sweet potatoes into bite-sized pieces.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken sausage and brown for 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
- Stir in sweet potatoes and cook for an additional 5 minutes until they start to soften.
- In a mixing bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper; mix well.
- Pour the sauce over the sausage and sweet potatoes. Cover and simmer for about 10 minutes until sweet potatoes are tender but not mushy.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
