- 1 lb chicken sausage, sliced
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt (more to taste)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional for extra flavor)
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients: Slice the sausage, dice the potatoes, chop the cabbage, slice the onion, and mince the garlic.
- In your slow cooker, combine the sliced sausage, diced potatoes, chopped cabbage, sliced onion, and minced garlic. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika (if using), and dried thyme.
- Pour chicken broth over the mixture until all ingredients are lightly covered.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until everything is tender.
- Stir well before serving and adjust seasoning if necessary.
