- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 medium ripe pears (peeled and diced)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices.
- In another bowl, cream softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time followed by vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients alternating with milk until just combined.
- Gently fold in diced pears.
- Fill each muffin cup about two-thirds full with batter.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
- Allow muffins to cool for five minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
