- 5 cups fresh strawberries (halved or quartered)
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9 1/2 inch deep dish pie plate.
- In a mixing bowl, toss fresh strawberries with orange juice and granulated sugar until well-coated.
- In another bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, granulated sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Stir in melted butter until crumbly.
- Spread the strawberry mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish and top with the oat crumble.
- Bake for about 40 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
