  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3/4 cup olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dressing by whisking together apple cider vinegar, honey, sugar, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and olive oil until smooth.
  2. For the glazed pecans, preheat the oven to 350°F. In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, salt, black pepper, and cayenne. Add pecans and coat well before baking on a greased sheet for 12-14 minutes until golden.
  3. In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, strawberries, red onion, dried cranberries, feta cheese, sliced grilled chicken, and glazed pecans. Drizzle with dressing just before serving.
