- 1 pound strawberries (hulled & sliced)
- 1/2 seedless watermelon (cubed)
- 6 mint leaves (thinly sliced)
- 3 basil leaves (thinly sliced)
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- 1/4 cup fresh squeezed lime juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
Instructions
- Wash strawberries under cool water, hull them, and slice.
- Cut watermelon in half; scoop out cubes or balls.
- Thinly slice mint and basil; set aside.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together honey, lime zest, lime juice, olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine strawberries and watermelon; gently fold in mint and basil.
- Drizzle vinaigrette over the salad; toss gently to combine.
- Serve immediately for the best flavor.
