Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 tsp honey
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, blend together butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken breasts for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F). Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, deglaze with chicken broth and add the butter mixture. Stir until smooth.
- Return chicken to the skillet and coat with sauce. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to absorb flavors.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
