- 1 ½ cups unsalted butter
- 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese
- 2 ½ cups granulated sugar

- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, finely chopped
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 to 2 tablespoons milk
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons strawberry puree (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C) and prepare a bundt or tube pan.
- In a bowl, cream together butter and cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually add sugar and beat until light.
- Incorporate eggs one at a time followed by vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt; then combine with the wet mixture.
- Gently fold in floured strawberries.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 75 to 85 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan before transferring to a wire rack. Prepare glaze by mixing powdered sugar with milk and vanilla; drizzle over the cooled cake.
